It's not as glitzy as a cocktail party, but it's your chance to chat with politicians, policy-makers and journalists about the convention. The on-line sessions, held Monday through Thursday from 8-9 p.m. eastern time, will feature a new guest (or guests) each time. So key in and speak up. It could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Before you can chat, you will need to download and configure the software -- Don't worry, it's easy. Further instructions are available on getting started, and entering a chat room.

How to set up your chat

You can interact with other users with our chat service, which allows anyone with an IRC-compatible client to participate. If you are then go directly to the chat (when available) Or get connected, then configure your chat client to work with your browser and join the chat.

Chat Users: If you're using Netscape, you can set up your chat client as an extension of your browser. If you have a non-integrated IRC client and would like to join the discussion.
